The Scanjet Bio 25B has been specially developed to allow dry running for a limited time, to blow sterile air into brewery fermentation tanks in order to push out CO2 before commencing cleaning. This has the major benefit of avoiding the chemical reaction of CO2 with caustic cleaning agents which would normally dilute detergent effectiveness and create significant vacuum risk in the vessel.

After cleaning is finished, the tanks are then also pressurised with air flowing through Bio 25B for between 35-60 minutes.

For breweries and OEMs installers this solution reduces investment costs since an additional gas by-pass with pipes and valves is no longer necessary within the top plate configuration of the tank.

The Bio 25B advantage is unique in this application.

In other respects the Bio 25B has the same features as the standard Bio 25:

The Bio 25 rotary jet head is a hygienic tank cleaning machine that provides 360° coverage within a given tank or process vessel. The Bio 25 is self powered by the flow of the fluid through the inlet cone of the machine.

An increase in pressure and flow will correspondingly increase the length of the jet and impact upon the tank or vessel surfaces. The Bio 25 employs exclusive self-washing features that allow it to be completely covered.  The Bio 25 and has been certified in rinse validation protocols such a riboflavin rinse validation and yogurt washing trials.

Quality Standards
The Bio 25 is produced in accordance to stringent quality standards and meets or exceeds ISO 9001 International Quality Standards as well as conforming to the cGMP as detailed by the United States FDA (Food and Drug Administration and EHEDG (European Hygienic Equipment Design Group).
